The T9 Smart Thermostat is COMPATIBLE WITH forced air (gas, oil, or electric), hot water and steam, and heat pumps with electric backup. It does not work with electric baseboard heat (120-240V), and a C-Wire is required.
The DO IT YOURSELF SIMPLE INSTALL process couldn't be easier, thanks to the guided setup and the included power adapter, which serves as a low-voltage alternative to a C-wire, making the thermostat compatible with most homes.
Before purchasing, be sure to check the compatibility of the T9 Smart Thermostat with your home and determine if a C-wire power adapter is needed. It's important to note that the T9 will work with most heat/cool oil furnace systems, but not with heating-only oil furnace systems unless a C-Wire is present.
